Christmas is upon us once again. It seems like we were just opening presents and reading the Christmas account. My break from school is already flying by. Here's a little update...
I took a test at 9:00 AM Wednesday morning then headed to the Chattanooga airport for a 12:20 flight. Needless to say, I hit the ground running. It so nice to be back with my family for a while. GYC was exhausting but of course rewarding. God really spoke to my heart through the message presented. Most of the weekend I ran around working in different locations. While being busy was tiring, it was such a blessing.
Sunday was a long day of travel but that night, at long last, I collapsed into my very own cozy bed. Monday morning I slept in for the first time since finals. Boy oh boy did it feel good! Since we've been home we have eaten at favorite restaurants and lazed around. I've gotten to play my piano frequently, which I've thoroughly enjoyed, and have even tackled one of mom's cupboard/pantry organization projects. Last night, our family headed to the Songy home for a Christmas dinner. Dale and my Dad have been best friends since college and Ryan was born five days before me. So Dale, Julie, Lauren, and Ryan are very dear to our family. Dinner was delicious and the fellowship was great. This afternoon, Dad, Dave, and I built a blazing fire in the backyard. Once we had it going strong we started playing with Dave's camera. To see pictures of our fun visit my facebook page
